Presenting last on October 19, 2015 as part of the Sylvania Fall Inservice Day. Next presentation to be announced!

From the ad: “By now, we’ve all heard of TED Talks, but have you brought the power of this engaging and inpiring resource into your classroom? Come to this session to learn how the most brilliant minds and powerful speakers can add meaning to your class, no matter the content.”

In this session, teachers will learn how to use the twin resources of TED Talks and TED Ed to support content in their classroom. Discussions will feature best practices in content selection, functionality of the website with student accounts, and creation of lessons through TED Ed.

Couldn’t make the session?  Get a taste of the power of TED Talks with this video from artist Neil Harbisson!
