Presenting last on October 19, 2015 as part of the Sylvania Fall Inservice Day. Next presentation to be announced!

From the ad: “Have you ever seen a student excited by a final unit test? Probably not. But is it their fault or the fault of the test? Come to this session to explore the possibilities of formative assessment, where classes run on activities that make sense, even to a student!”

In this session, teachers will learn the basic principles of formative assessment, especially mediated through digital technology. The principles covered will include repetition of assessment format, classroom workshopping, and feedback reflection.
