Transforming Math Assessments in AIR Preparation through Edcite

Would you like to make your traditional tests digital? Better yet, would you like to make them look like AIR assessments? Still better, would you like them to auto-grade? Join us to learn how to do this through Edcite.

Participants will . . . learn the basic functions of Edcite to create assessments and curate assessments from others. Most of the session will be spent in converting, finding, and creating individual questions and full assessments, with focus on AIR type questions like drag and drop, free response, drawing points and lines, and multiple choice. Participants will leave with created items and assessments.

Simple Quizzes with the New Quiz Mode in Google Forms

Flubaroo users! Did you notice that Google Forms just took over a whole bunch of Flubaroo’s cool grading powers? It’s all part of the new Forms Quiz Mode. Learn how to use it for autograding and data gathering.

Participants will learn about the great new features (and a few limitations) of using Forms with Quiz options. This workshop will include a brief presentation followed by plenty of time to create self-grading Forms on your own or with help from the instructor. Participants should expect to leave with at least three classroom ready instruments. Please come prepared with your upcoming quizzes, homework assignments and/or study guides that you are interested in converting to Forms with the new autograding and/or automatic feedback features.

Learn how you can create a presentation that students engage with through interactive elements like quizzes, discussion, and polls. Make your lectures student-centered activities and watch the benefits!
